The invention discloses a cross-linked polyolefin hot melt adhesive film for wall cloth and a preparation method thereof. The hot melt adhesive film is prepared by extruding and granulating 20~40 parts by weight of maleic anhydride grafted polyolefin copolymer, 50~70 parts by weight of polyolefin copolymer, 10~25 parts by weight of ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer, 0.3~1 part by weight of peroxide initiator, 0.5~1.5 parts by weight of crosslinking agent, 0.3~1 part by weight of maleic anhydride and 0.2~1 part by weight of antioxidant, followed by further casting forming. The cross-linked polyolefin hot melt adhesive film for wall cloth of the present invention has both physical and chemical bonding effects with high bonding strength, as well as excellent heat resistance, which avoids the risk of melting and flowing of the adhesive film at high temperature and solves the problem of poor temperature adaptability of conventional wall cloth hot melt adhesive films.
