The invention provides a PTC effect electrothermal film and a preparation method thereof. The electrothermal film comprises conductive fillers, a supporting material and a third component, wherein the conductive fillers are filled in the third component, and the third component has a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than the supporting material. By adjusting and combining the third component, electrothermal films with different PTC response temperatures can be manufactured based on the same supporting material. The invention effectively solves the problems caused by volumetric thermal expansion relying solely on polymer supporting materials in the prior art, shortens product development cycles and reduces development costs.
