The invention provides an oxygen barrier material for PB pipes, a preparation method thereof and an oxygen barrier PB pipe. The preparation method of the oxygen barrier material comprises the following steps: mixing nano-alumina and a surface modification solution at a weight ratio of (85–95):(5–15) to obtain surface-modified nano-alumina, the surface modification solution comprising acetone and vinyltris(2-methoxyethoxy)silane; mixing polybutene, the obtained surface-modified nano-alumina and a lubricant, and extruding the mixture at 130–180℃ to obtain the oxygen barrier material for PB pipes, wherein the weight ratio of polybutene to the obtained surface-modified nano-alumina is (50–35):(40–25). The oxygen barrier material for PB pipes of the invention can be added to PB pipes to form a dense oxygen barrier structure microscopically inside the PB pipes, effectively preventing oxygen penetration. The PB pipe of the invention has both good mechanical properties and oxygen barrier properties.
