The present invention discloses an HDPE composite material for the outer layer of double-wall corrugated pipes and a preparation method thereof. Raw materials include HDPE, linear high-pressure material, PE100-grade HDPE, surface-treated talc powder, internal lubricant, external lubricant, coupling synergist, antioxidant and color masterbatch. HDPE is added into a single-screw hopper, plasticized and purified via quantitative feeding, then forcibly fed into a parallel co-rotating twin-screw extruder. The remaining raw materials are added into a high-speed mixer and uniformly blended. The blended material is fed by a screw feeder into the parallel co-rotating twin-screw extruder to be kneaded and extruded with the plasticized and purified HDPE, followed by cooling and pelletizing to obtain the special HDPE composite material for the outer layer of double-wall corrugated pipes. The composite material prepared by the present invention is used for producing the outer layer of double-wall corrugated pipes, with ring stiffness, impact resistance, ring flexibility and other indicators meeting national standard requirements. It also features uniform appearance color, smooth surface, stable production and pipe performance, and low production cost.
