The invention provides a synthesis method of high-pressure polyethylene for heavy-duty packaging films, including the following steps: Ethylene gas is compressed by a compressor and fed into a reactor. Polymerization is initiated by an initiator composed of oxygen in catalyst air and peroxide composition under 250–270 MPa and 310–330℃. The reacted polyethylene is separated from unreacted ethylene through high-pressure and low-pressure separators. The polyethylene is pelletized, pneumatically conveyed and packaged to obtain high-pressure polyethylene products dedicated for heavy-duty packaging films. The synthesized special high-pressure polyethylene material has a nominal breaking strain higher than 550% with outstanding toughness.
