Preparation method of polypropylene/carbon nanotube fiber composite material

The invention relates to a preparation method of a polypropylene/carbon nanotube fiber composite material. Specifically, PP, silane coupling agent-modified carbon nanotubes and a series of additives are melt-blended in a twin-screw extruder and subjected to melt spinning to obtain carbon nanotube-modified polypropylene fibers. These fibers are interlaced to form a network structure to obtain a carbon nanotube-modified polypropylene fiber interlaced bundle net, which is alternately laminated with polypropylene sheets obtained by hot pressing, with a 30° difference between every two polypropylene fiber bundle nets. The polypropylene/carbon nanotube fiber composite material is prepared by hot pressing at 190°C in a hot press. The composite material prepared by the invention has the characteristics of high strength, low shrinkage, stable stress in all directions and high cost performance, can be used as a reinforcing material in automotive exterior parts, and also meets the application requirements of transportation, construction and other fields.
