1. Food packaging
Application scenarios: Snack bags, cling film, frozen food packaging, beverage bottle label film.
Film type:
PE (polyethylene):
LDPE (low density): thickness 10-50 μ m, soft and transparent, used for cling film and bread bags.
HDPE (high-density): thickness 20-80 μ m, firm and wear-resistant, used for milk carton lining and detergent bottle labels.
PP (polypropylene):
CPP (Cast Polypropylene): thickness 20-60 μ m, high temperature resistance (120 ℃), used for fast food box sealing film and steamed food packaging.
BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene): thickness 15-30 μ m, high transparency, tear resistance, used as snack bag and tape substrate.
PET (polyester): thickness 12-25 μ m, high temperature resistance, puncture resistance, used for tea can sealing film and nut packaging bags (often compounded with PE).
2. Industrial and Logistics Packaging
Application scenarios: Tray wrapping film, moisture-proof bags for electronic products, and mechanical parts coating.
Film type:
LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene): thickness 15-50 μ m, high stretchability, puncture resistance, used for tray wrapping film (can be stretched up to 300% of its original length).
PA (nylon)/PE composite film: thickness 20-50 μ m, puncture resistance, high barrier properties (anti oxygen, water vapor), used for vacuum packaging of precision instruments and metal parts.
PVC shrink film: thickness 30-80 μ m, heating shrinkage rate of 50%, used for beverage bottle bundle packaging and gift box heat shrink film.
Agriculture and Landscape Architecture
1. Greenhouse and plastic film covering
Application scenarios: greenhouse film, ground covering film, seedling pot covering film.
Film type:
EVA agricultural film: with a thickness of 80-200 μ m, high light transmittance (over 90%), good insulation, used in greenhouses (with a lifespan of 1-3 years).
PE film: thickness 5-15 μ m, black film can weed control (shading and weed suppression), white film can increase temperature and retain moisture, used for farmland covering.
PO (polyolefin) film: 100-150 μ m thick, anti-aging (antioxidant added), anti dripping (reduce fog in the shed), suitable for high humidity environment.
2. Preservation and storage of agricultural products
Application scenarios: Fruit preservation film, grain storage anti mold film, vegetable transportation moisturizing film.
Film type:
PVC cling film: thickness 10-20 μ m, low air permeability, suitable for short-term preservation of fresh fruits and vegetables (such as cucumbers and tomatoes).
PE cling film: thickness 15-30 μ m, safe and non-toxic, used for covering food in refrigerators or packaging fresh produce in supermarkets.
Modified atmosphere packaging film (PE/PA composite): thickness 25-50 μ m, adjustable oxygen/carbon dioxide permeability, extends the shelf life of meat and flowers.
Industrial and Electronic Fields
1. Protection and insulation materials
Application scenarios: Dust proof film for devices, moisture-proof film for circuit boards, and insulation layer for cables.
Film type:
HDPE film: thickness 30-100 μ m, oil and water resistant, used for dust-proof packaging of machine tools and automotive parts before leaving the factory.
PET insulation film: thickness 25-50 μ m, voltage resistance (breakdown voltage ≥ 15kV), used for motor coil insulation and lithium battery separator.
Aluminum foil composite film (PET/aluminum foil/PE): thickness 30-80 μ m, high barrier properties (anti electromagnetic interference, moisture-proof), used for moisture-proof bags of electronic components.
2. Printing and label substrates
Application scenarios: Product labels, packaging printing films, anti-counterfeiting labels.
Film type:
BOPP printing film: thickness 15-30 μ m, with strong ink adhesion after surface corona treatment, used for color printing of food packaging bags.
PVC label film: thickness 20-50 μ m, resistant to chemical corrosion, used for cosmetic bottle labels and industrial equipment nameplates.
Daily chemical and pharmaceutical fields
1. Packaging of daily chemical products
Application scenarios: shampoo packaging bags, cosmetic sample bags, wet wipe cover films.
Film type:
PE composite film (PE/PE): thickness 30-60 μ m, good heat sealing performance, used for self-supporting bags and three edge sealing bags (such as laundry detergent packaging bags).
PET/PE composite film: 25-50 μ m thick, neat and beautiful, used for facial mask bags and skin care products aluminum foil sealing film.
2. Pharmaceutical packaging
Application scenarios: Aluminum plastic blister film for tablets, medical sterilization packaging bags, infusion bags.
Film type:
PVC hard sheet (pharmaceutical grade): thickness 0.2-0.5mm, heat sealed with aluminum foil to form a blister, used for tablet and capsule packaging.
PE medical film: thickness 20-50 μ m, sterile and puncture resistant, used for sterilization packaging of surgical instruments (requires the use of paper plastic composite materials).
Special field applications
1. Environmental Protection and New Energy
Application scenarios: Garbage bags, biodegradable alternatives to plastic film, solar cell backsheet film.
Film type:
PLA (polylactic acid) biodegradable film: thickness 15-50 μ m, made of plant starch, compostable and biodegradable, used for environmentally friendly garbage bags.
PVDF solar backsheet film: thickness 25-50 μ m, strong UV resistance and weather resistance (with a lifespan of over 25 years), used for outer protection of photovoltaic modules.
2. Automotive and Aerospace
Application scenarios: Automotive interior protective film, aircraft window film, lightweight component coating film.
Film type:
TPU invisible car wrap film: thickness of 50-200 μ m, high elasticity (elongation rate ≥ 500%), scratch resistance, used for protecting car paint surfaces.
PC film: thickness 50-100 μ m, impact resistant, high and low temperature resistant (-40 ℃~120 ℃), used as explosion-proof film for the inner layer of aircraft cabin windows.
